In the event of a campus emergency, the Building Marshals will receive information from an Emergency Response Team member. Depending on the emergency, building marshals will be instructed to either evacuate the building or shelter in place. The building marshals will share as much information as possible. During an emergency, building marshals can be identified by their orange emergency back packs and navy blue emergency team baseball caps. We strongly encourage all building occupants to become familiar with their building marshals. The resident directors will serve as the building marshal for the residence halls.
