Who We Are
Office of University Architect is a
group of design professionals managing the
design and construction of the Campus. We
consist of architects, planners, construction
managers, construction coordinators, intern
architects, landscape architects, interior
designers, and space managers. Our goal is
to provide quality facilities and an aesthetically
pleasing campus that enhances the learning,
teaching, and working environment of our students,
faculty and staff. We are both designers,
paying attention to aesthetics and technical
professionals, providing construction supervision
and consultation. This combination enables
Office of University Architect to provide
functional and pleasing facilities, creating
a beautiful campus at American University.
Our managers are qualified with Architectural
licenses, construction licenses, and several
certifications. We operate in project teams
consisting of one architect, one construction
manager, one intern architect and one construction
coordinator. This “team” designs
and oversees the construction of several projects
at a time to implement the University’s
Master Plan.
