Overview
American University provides health-care
insurance for its faculty, staff and students
while on university-sponsored international travel
that is not in their country of permanent residence.
Please refer to the links under Global Accident
& Health for the procedures to obtain coverage
and the benefits provided by the insurance policy.
Country-specific information is
also available by request. The information includes,
travel warnings, weather conditions, country customs,
documentation needed to enter the country, risk
analysis, immunizations needed, etc. Please call
