Purpose
of the training:
To ensure the safety of the campus community
by providing guidance for vehicular and pedestrian
traffic during an emergency evacuation.

Equipment/supplies
provided:
Copy of the Emergency Management Procedures,
backpack, hat, armband, ID holder, flashlight,
first aid kit, whistle, and extra flashlight batteries,
toothbrush and toothpaste, bottled water, notepad
and pencil, 2 glowsticks, EAS identification card.
Traffic
Control Responsibilities
Willy Suter will initiate the traffic
control call list by calling Mark Feist.
As soon as you receive a phone call advising of
an evacuation, you will be assigned an emergency
response location. Report to that location as
soon as possible. You will execute the traffic
control plan developed by the Emergency Response
Team.
Bollards Responsibilities
In the event of the need to evacuate the Sports
Center garage or change campus traffic patterns,
the following Sports Center garage and bollard
adjustment activities will be performed by the
designated team(s):
*The two individuals assigned under this category
will check out a truck and bollard lowering/removal
tools.
*Proceed to the north side of Letts/Anderson quad
and lower or remove all bollards on the roadway
leading to Reeves Gate.
*When all bollards have been lowered or removed,
park the truck in a service vehicle space and
take up designated traffic control positions.
