Faculty and staff that bike to work as their primary form of transport can receive a monthly voucher.

Commuter Bike Benefit

What? Receive $20 per month for biking to work as your primary commute mode. This monthly incentive comes as a Commuter Check for Bicycling voucher valid for bicycling gear and services at participating bicycle shops nationwide. The vouchers can be spent each month, or accumulated for up to a year and placed toward a larger purchase. A list of participating bike shops is available online.

How? Starting November 11, 2010, bike commuters can request their January 2011 voucher through PayFlex at In accordance with the federal legislation that makes this tax free program available, this benefit is available only to commuters who are not enrolled in any other transit or parking benefit. The program is designed for those who commute primarily by bike.
