A Message from Transportation
Services
Fellow AU Community Member,
Thank you for visiting our webpage
and for using our on-line services. Our goal is
to provide you the best possible service with
flexible options and with the greatest amount
of convenience. Our on-line services are just
one example of the enhancements to the Transportation
Services options at American University. In response
to feedback received from our customers, we have
also extended our office hours. Our new hours
are 8:00 a.m. until 7:30 p.m., Monday through
Friday.
We realize that this is a transitional
period for many AU community members, as you are
preparing for classes and getting adjusted again
(or for the first time) to campus life. Our entire
Transportation Services team wants to help you
with this transition, including—and especially—pertaining
to parking and transportation issues. We will
answer any questions you may have to the best
of our ability. If we don’t have an immediate
answer, we will get one for you as soon as possible.
We will assist you with permit options and changes,
and, we will keep you updated regularly on new
parking options, construction, and alternative
transportation.
