PARKING DISRUPTION:

Effective March 3, 2008 the Bender Library Parking lot will be closed due to the start of construction of the new S.I.S. building. For your short term parking needs, hourly parking continues to be available in both the Nebraska Parking Lot and Katzen Parking Garage. ***New Parking Rates***
Several changes to the university’s parking program will come into effect on May 1, 2008.

***2008 - 2009 Parking Permits***
Students can apply for their 2008-2009 parking permits starting August 1, 2008 at www.american.edu/finance/ts. Permits will be available for distribution in the Transportation Services Office located in the Public Safety Building during Welcome Week (August 17-24, 2008) and the first week of classes. Please remember to bring a copy of your vehicle registration card and AU ID. Part-time student permit applicants should also bring a copy of their class schedule from the registrar's office to receive the part-time student parking rate.
