Help the AU Arboretum and Gardens plant three oak trees on the Friedheim Quad.
The majestic oak trees are one of the crowning features of the quad, some dating back to the earliest years of the university. In recent years, some of the quad Oaks have been lost to storm damage and old age. Friedheim Quad is central to the campus and a memorable space that all students, faculty, staff and visitors experience. Your gift towards the purchase of these trees will not only help the environment, but also help keep our campus looking its best for years to come.
American University's Arboretum & Gardens is one of the most noteworthy features on the campus. More than 2,500 trees provide part of the tree canopy of Washington, D.C. As a part of the Tree Campus USA program and a certified Wildlife Habitat, American University is committed to acting on our values through social responsibility, service, and an active pursuit of sustainability. We thank you for your support!
