Melissa Warren

A Fusion of Personal Passions and Scholarly Pursuits

Melissa Warren, a recipient of the Charlotte Newcombe Foundation Scholarship, is the first woman in her family to graduate from college. She is due to receive a bachelor's degree from CAS in 2010.

Art Professor Establishes Award for Students to Travel, Explore

To Carol Bird Ravenal, PhD, travel and study are intertwined. A professor emerita of art at the College of Arts and Sciences, she attributes her painting success to a college trip to Scandinavia and wanted to give art students the same opportunity.
