Donor Recognition Societies
The President's Circle is AU's premier donor recognition society, which honors our generous supporters who make contributions of $2,500 or more during the fiscal year, from May 1 through April 30.
President's Circle
American University is deeply grateful for the past and present support given generously by current members of the President’s Circle. As of May 1, 2012, the President’s Circle recognition levels have been restructured. The changes allow us to direct more philanthropic dollars to the students, faculty, and academic programs that enable American to continue its upward trajectory and preserve the distinction of the President’s Circle.

The Helen Palmer Kettler Society
The Helen Palmer Kettler Society was established in 1990 to acknowledge individuals who have included AU in their estate plans and have named AU as a beneficiary (revocably or irrevocably) in their will, life insurance, charitable gift annuity, charitable trust, or similar vehicle. Individuals who include AU in their estate plans and make their intentions known to the university are invited to membership in the Helen Palmer Kettler Society.
