  • Summer Walking Group

    AhealthyU is partnering with AU Rec Sports to offer you another opportunity to stay active this summer! Enjoy a weekly complimentary group walk through campus and the surrounding community. Each walk will include a guided discussion on a specific health and wellness topic. The group will meet in June and July on varying weekdays from 12:05-12:50 p.m. Cassell Fitness Center is the starting location of each walk and will also serve as the rain location.Pre-registration is strongly encouraged.

  • AhealthyU Health Assessment

    Every Full-time AU Faculty and Staff member who completes the Health Assessment will be eligible for a $50 reward from AhealthyU (taxes applicable). The confidential health assessment is available online now through October 31, but early birds completing the assessment by May 31 will be entered in a drawing for a Fitbit®Flex™.


  • Steps to AhealthyU Pedometer Challenge

    NEW for 2015: Use your own tracking device, including Fitbit, Jawbone and Nike FuelBand or an AhealthyU pedometer. Registration for the 6-week challenge is April 27 - May 27. Set personal and team step goals to win prizes. CASH prizes for top stepping teams (subject to tax). Registration is $5/person.

    Start forming your team today -- exactly 4 people per team. Competitive and non-competitive team options available.

    The Pedometer Challenge officially begins on May 26.

  • Financial Education Seminars

    Led by an independent financial advisor from PricewaterhouseCoopers, these workshops are custom designed to help you meet your financial goals. The next sessions will be held on Wednesday, May 20 on main campus and at 4401 Connecticut Ave. Topics covered include "Cash and Debt Management," "Basics of Estate Planning," and "Basics of Investing."

  • Weight Watchers at Work

    Join anytime and start attending weekly meetings. Weekly sessions meet every Thursday at 12:00pm in MGC 330-N.

    Exercise classes exclusively for AU Faculty and Staff hosted in Jacobs Fitness Center, Cassell Fitness Center, and satellite campuses
