If you are relocating to work at American University, we have partners who can assist you with this transition. Hotels

American University has negotiated discounted rates with local area hotels located conveniently to the campus. Discounted university rates are provided for guests of AU, faculty, staff, and current students for business or personal travel. Prospective students and their families that are visiting the University may also book rooms at the discounted rates.

Reservations for travel can be booked directly with the hotel.

The Washington, DC area is served by three major airports, Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), Dulles International Airport (IAD), and Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI).

Visiting AU's campus? There are a host of different public transportation options including Metro, AU Shuttle, and DC Circulator. Amtrak, MARC (Maryland commuters), and VRE (Virginia Commuters) serve commuters and travelers in and around the DC area.
