Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Can my FWS award be used for on-campus and off-campus jobs?
Yes, your FWS award may be used for an on-campus or off-campus job.

Are these jobs only available to students who have been given FWS awards?
These jobs are only available to students who have FWS awards. If you would like a job and do not have a FWS award, click here for part-time student job listings (non-FWS jobs).

How many jobs can I have during the year?
Students may only hold one (1) work-study position at a time. While you are free to change positions, you must first resign from your current position before starting another FWS position.

Will I be placed into a position?
No, we have developed an “open-market” system where students have the ability to apply to and interview for the positions of their choice.
