Brown Bag Wellness Workshop Series

Brown Bag Wellness Workshops are no-cost, monthly lunchtime workshops designed to support healthy living.  We invite you to attend one or all.  Just come as you are - we'll even provide lunch.  RSVP is requested for each session. Winter Market Cooking Demo

Winter Farmers' Markets are very different from those in the Summer and Fall.  Join AhealthyU and Chef Mary from Bon Appetite for a cooking demonstration where you'll learn a quick dish that you can make completely out of ingredients from the winter market.  Light lunch and food samples provided.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture can be used to treat a wide variety of ailments including allergies, insomnia, stress, hypertension, and many more.  Licensed acupuncturist Tony Li joins AhealthyU to lead this workshop all about this Chinese alternative medicine technique.  Light lunch will be served.

AhealthyU invites you to join JFC Staff Member Alex Tingue as he helps you learn how to keep your back healthy and pain free at work and at home.  Learn proper movements and strengthening exercises along with the information on how to keep from injuring your back and/or alleviating pain that you may already have. You will have the opportunity to try exercises and techniques on the spot and will be given a take home handout so you will always have the information you need to be happy and healthy!

AhealthyU invites you to join JFC Staff Members Julie Field and Lindsay Magera as they help you tackle "Fitness on the Go!".  You'll learn all about training with resistance bands and have the opportunity to participate in exercise demonstrations that you can easily perform in your home or office.  Travel plans and life commitments should never derail your routine.  We'll share plenty of helpful tips that you can use when you are away from the convenience of a fitness center. Light lunch provided.
