Presidential Inauguration Updates.
- Inauguration Ceremony, 11 am: The Inaguration Ceremony will take place on Friday, February 8 in Bender Arena. Tickets may be picked up in the deans' offices, Bender Library, Mary Graydon Center Information Desk, and Student Activities. Faculty participating in the processional do not need tickets. Doors to Bender Arena open at 10:15 a.m.
- Faculty Robing & Assembly, 10:00 a.m.: Faculty who rented regalia may pick it up in the Palmer-Kettler Lounge, 2nd floor, Sports Center, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Line-up for the processional will begin shortly thereafter. Faculty who wish to place onsite orders (filled on a first-come, first-serve basis) should arrive around 9:30 a.m. Rental regalia should be returned to the Palmer-Kettler Lounge after the ceremony.
- Parking on February 8: Due to the number of external guests attending the ceremony, parking will be limited in the Sports Center garage. Persons who normally park in the Sports Center garage may park in the Nebraska Avenue lot and the Katzen Arts Center garage without charge.
- Live Webcast: For those who cannot attend the inauguration ceremony, a live video feed will be accessible from the AU web site. Additional information will be available on the AU home page and inauguration site on Friday, February 8. Video will also be available late Friday afternoon.
- Campus-wide Reception, 2 pm: The AU community is invited to a campus-wide reception celebrating the inauguration at 2 pm, Friday, February 8 in the University Club, first floor, Mary Graydon Center.
- Inaugural Celebration and Founders' Day Ball, 7:30 pm: All tickets to the Inaugural Celebration and Founders' Day Ball have been distributed. No additional tickets remain. Due to security concerns at the Italian Embassy, tickets are non-transferrable and a photo ID is required. Shuttles will run continuously between AU and the embassy and can be boarded in the Sports Center tunnel.
