About Singapore
Home Page

Singapore is a city-state on an island at the tip of the Malayan peninsula, with the Indian Ocean to the west and the South China Sea to the east. Due to its location, Singapore is the melting pot of Asia. Its multiracial population lives on a land mass of approximately 250 square miles. However, the residents of this country enjoy one of the highest living standards in the world, with a per capita income of $29, 700.[1] Since this island is devoid of natural resources, Singaporeans use technology to sustain the momentum of their economic growth.
