About the Author
Linda Camerino is a graduate MBA student at American University. She will
be continuing to pursue an interest in telecommunications at Comsat International,
a division of Comsat Corporation -- the signatory to Intelsat. Comsat and
CI are continuing to take advantage of deregulation of Intelsat and privatization
efforts around the world. CI, in particular, develops digital and satellite
networks in emerging markets and is especially primed to offer its services
as telecommunication sectors deregulate. Ms. Camerino will be researching
and developing market expansion opportunities for CI, with an emphasis
on Eastern Europe and the Newly Independent States.
