Domestic IT Production

Domestic IT production is still an insignificant portion of the Ivorian economy. Most of the software and hardware used by local businesses is imported. There are small firms that specialize that specialize in installation and maintenance of hardware, software, and networks. The government has started to provide tax incentives to startups whose main activity could be classified as NTIC. If the government continues to provide such incentives, we can expect more NTIC companies in the future.
