IT Workforce
The Houphouet Boigny National Polytechnic Institute (INP-HB) is located in Yamoussoukro, the capital. It is the largest school that produces science and technology graduates in the country. Enrollment numbers were not available because the website (http://www.inphb.edu.ci/) is not working at the moment. The University of Abidjan-Cocody also produces science graduates in fields such as math, physics, and chemistry. As far as English fluency goes, it has been my observation that the typical student who graduates from the university in Cote d’Ivoire is not fluent enough to conduct a conversation in English. | |
