This Act provides the legal framework for dealing with criminal activities perpetrated through computer systems.

 The Data Protection Act, 2004

This Act provides for the protection of individual rights to privacy with regard to capture, transmission, manipulation, recording or storage data relating to individuals

 National Telecommunications Policy, 2004

This is the policy statement of the Government of Mauritius for the development of telecommunications infrastructure and regulation for the benefit of citizens and businesses with the goal of promoting as an ICT hub for the region.
