Master of Science in Finance & Real Estate (MSFRE)

APPLYING TO THE MSFRE PROGRAM

The minimum university requirements for consideration for admission to graduate study at the Kogod School of Business are as follows:

  • A bachelors degree from a regionally accredited college or university

  • Official GMAT score.
    GMAT WAIVER POLICY - Applicants who meet the following criteria may be considered for a GMAT waiver:

    • 3.5 or better GPA from an AACSB accredited school within the last 5 years; or

    • A minimum of 5 years of work experience in the real estate industry; or

    • Successful completion of CFA Level 1; or

    • A prior graduate degree with a GPA of 3.3 or above (business-related degrees must be from an AASCB accredited school).

  • International Students: TOEFL paper-based score of 600 or Internet-based score of 100 (minimum) or IELTS score of 7 (minimum).

Tuition (Academic Year 2009-10)

MS programs
Less than 12 credit hours: $1,111 per credit hour
12-17 credit hours: $14,536
Additional credits above 17 credit hours: $1,111 per credit hour

Graduate Student Fees
Graduate student fee (all students): $30 per semester
Sports center fee (full-time students): $65 per semester
Sports center fee (part-time students): $30 per semester
Technology fee (full-time): $120 per semester
Technology fee (part-time): $40 per semester

Fall 2009 Deadlines

We are no longer accepting applications for the MSFRE program for Fall 2009.  The application for Spring 2010 and Fall 2010 enrollment will be online in early September 2009.
