About the Peer Consultants

The Kogod Center for Career Development's Peer Consultants meet with undergraduate students to assist with resumes, cover letters, and utilizing CareerSource. PCs hold scheduled appointments from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and 15 minute walk-in appointments from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Ben Loeb

Ben Loeb

Ben Loeb is a senior in Kogod studying Business Administration and specializing in Marketing with a minor in Communication. Ben is passionate about the crossroads of social media, marketing, and education and he currently serves as the President of the AU Social Media Club. Ben has done a number of internships, including most recently an internship at social media analytics company PeekYou. Ben has worked at a variety of marketing and PR agencies, including MWW Group in New York and RedPeg Marketing in Alexandria, VA. When he's not working you can find Ben playing sports and stressing about his fantasy football team.

Claire Moyer

Claire Moyer

Claire Moyer is a senior studying Business and Music. She came to AU from Connecticut to prepare for a career in the music industry while continuing 12 years of violin studies. As an honors student, she keeps busy both on and off campus as a member of the professional business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi, performing as a violinist, and working at the iconic D.C. cupcake spot, Georgetown Cupcake. Her past experience also includes various internships, most recently with the Levine School of Music. She looks forward to another semester of working with students and helping them accomplish their career goals.

James DeLucia

James DeLucia

James DeLucia is a senior in the School of Public Affairs majoring Political Science and minoring in Literature. James is from Yonkers, New York and strives to take advantage of all D.C. has to offer before he graduates this May. Having worked for public figures such as NYC Mayor Mike Bloomberg and House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, in addition to financial services firms such as Goldman Sachs, James enjoys both business and political affairs. Additionally, he excels at understanding the fundamental tenets of professionalism and loves working with students to see them achieve their professional goals.

Kathryn Schramm

Kathryn Schramm

Kathryn Schramm is a senior pursuing a BSBA in Social Entrepreneurship, a self designed specialization bringing together aspects of management, entrepreneurship and international business. Minoring in French and International Service, her interests definitely range outside Kogod! With a passion for business that creates social good, she has held several previous internships, working with trade associations, non profits, as well as in small business development and consulting. Kathryn's future plans include working in corporate social citizenship or at a major NGO, either abroad or in the US! She firmly believes in helping others help themselves and is thrilled to help students achieve their career goals as a peer consultant.

Kevin Collins

Kevin Collins

Kevin Collins is a junior in the Kogod School of Business pursuing a BSBA with specializations in Finance and Information Systems Technology. Kevin has a mix of public and private experience through his summer internship experiences within the District of Columbia. Kevin is interested in merging his interests in information systems and finance into the expanding renewable energy sector. Outside of work and classes, Kevin participates in Kogod’s 1955 leadership club, where he assists with prospective student programs. In his free time, Kevin enjoys practicing with American University’s Men’s Club Ultimate Frisbee team. Kevin is excited to expand his participation within the Kogod community as a Peer Consultant.
