The Kogod Center for Career Development (KCCD) Corporate Relations team is dedicated to providing superior customer service to employers in order to meet your specific recruitment needs.
KCCD also works in close partnership with American University's main campus Career Center and leverages a shared recruitment system, powered by Symplicity, referred to as CareerSource and AU CareerWeb respectively.
Please do not hesitate to contact us directly if you have any questions by calling (202) 885-1908 and asking to speak with a Corporate Relations representative.
Post a Job or Internship
Create an account on CareerSource to post your opportunity or email us directly.
*We require all jobs posted through Kogod CareerSource to be bona fide job opportunities that fall within the parameters of professional employment opportunities. Employers who wish to advertise childcare, tutoring, odd jobs, home office duties or jobs should post the position with AUSG Job Board.
Interview on Campus
Request a date through CareerSource or contact us directly. We can also arrange for you to interview our students virtually if you are not able to send a recruiter to campus, or if you want to interview students who are currently studying internationally.
Host an Information Session
For employers participating in on-campus recruiting (OCR), we recommend hosting an information session the week before the resume submission deadline (generally three weeks before the interview date). However, information sessions are not limited to on-campus recruiters. If you are not able to travel to campus, we also host virtual information sessions.
Attend an Event
The KCCD organizes a series of industry-specific events throughout the academic year focusing on Accounting, Consulting, Finance, Real Estate, IT, Marketing, Entertainment and International Business. In addition, AU's main campus Career Center hosts two annual Job and Internship Fairs, one in the Fall and one in the Spring.
We ask that employers give students at least 2 weeks from the date of the written offer to respond. For students who receive an offer from their internship, we ask that employers give the students 1 month from the date of the written offer.
