What is a Case Competition?

Case Competitions, held around the world, are an excellent opportunity for students to sharpen their case analysis and problem-solving techniques, leadership and teamwork expertise, and communication skills. Additionally competitors build their resume and network with employers.


Who: All undergraduate and graduate (including WCL) students at AU as well as international partner schools of Kogod are invited to compete in teams of 3-5 students. Our judges are mostly alumni and area business leaders, many of whom have been judging the Competition for more than 5 years!

What: 3 days of preparation and a 1 day competition to solve a business case in teams.

Where: On the American University campus

When: February
