Michael W. Carleton served as Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the General Services Administration (GSA). Mr. Carleton holds a Master of Science in Information Resources Management from Syracuse University and a Master of Public Administration from Northeastern University. He is also a distinguished alumnus of the National Defense University’s Information Resources Management College and the Society for Information Management International's Regional Leadership Forum. He is a past president of the Capital Area Chapter of the Society for Information Management.
