Mr. Ralph J. Szygenda served as Senior Advisor and Chairman of Customer Advocacy Board for UST Global, Inc. since June 2011. Mr. Szygenda served as a Senior Advisor and Chair of UST Corporation Advocacy Board. He is a Senior Advisor and Chairman of iRise Corporation Customer Advisory Board. He is also a Senior Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer of Elastic Outreach Corporation. He consults and advises corporations, government and universities worldwide. Mr. Szygenda is a Private Investor, and has over 40 years of information technology leadership experience in business management and as a Chief Information Officer. He served as Group Vice President of Information Systems & Services and Chief Information Officer of Motors Liquidation Company from January 7, 2000 to July 2009. He served as the Chief Information Officer and Group Vice President of General Motors Company from January 7, 2000 to July 2009, where he was accountable for the management of all information technology efforts responsible for developing and implementing its global digital business strategy.

Mr. Szygenda joined General Motors Corporation on June 28, 1996 as Group Vice President and Chief Information Officer. He was directly responsible for developing and implementing General Motors' global digital business strategy. He was also accountable for the management of all information technology efforts responsible for developing and implementing GM’s global digital business strategy. Mr. Szygenda served as Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Verizon Communications Inc. (also known as Bell Atlantic Corporation) from 1993 to 1996 in the telecommunications industry and was involved in re engineering traditional telephone business processes into future information services businesses. He served as Vice President/Vice President, Information Systems and Services, Chief Information Officer and General Manager of Enterprise Systems Business Unit of Texas Instruments Inc. from 1989 to 1993. He serves as an Advisory Board Member/Editorial Board Member at InformationWeek.

Szygenda serves as a Member of Board of Advisors at iRise, Inc. He serves as a Member of the Investment Advisory Board of Lead Edge Capital. He served as a Director of Covisint Corporation (formerly, Covisint, LLC) from November 2012 to November 15, 2013. He served as Director of Compuware Corporation since October 2009 until November 21, 2013. He serves as the Chairman of the University of Missouri-Rolla School of Management and Information Systems. He is a Member of the dean's advisory council for Carnegie Mellon University H. John Heinz III School of Public Policy and Management, and the Information Management Advisory Council at the University of Texas, Austin. Mr. Szygenda served as a Director of Handleman Company from June 18, 2003 to April 2, 2009. He was also a Board Member at Sodalia Corporations. Mr. Szygenda has received numerous awards such as Industry Week's 2001 Technology Leader of the Year; InformationWeek's 2002 CIO of the Year; Outsourcing Hall of Fame and CIO Magazine's 20/20 Vision Award in 2002 in recognition of his contributions in driving the information age.

Szygenda was inducted into the CRN Computer Industry Hall of Fame in 2003, and two years later, he received the Computerworld Honors Program Leadership Award. In 2006, he received the Automotive News Industry All Star Award and two years after that, he was inducted into CIO Magazine's CIO Hall of Fame. He was also awarded the Computerworld Magazine Smithsonian “Information Leadership Award”. He is a recipient of an honorary professional degree and honorary doctorate in Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla. Mr. Szygenda holds a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas in 1975, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Missouri-Rolla in 1970
