Bio
Prof. Brown is currently the Vice President of Business Systems at ZeniMax Media a global game development studio and publishing company. Mr. Brown is the leader of ZeniMax’s global business systems organization. He is currently focusing on integrating sales, financial, reporting and business intelligence platforms globally.
Prior to ZeniMax, Mr. Brown spent 12 years at Discovery Communications as the executive leader of Discovery Communication’s global software group. His organizations were responsible for Discovery’s portfolio of business applications, ranging from sales, financial management, content, HR and corporate collaboration solutions. Mr. Brown was the creator of Discovery’s One Discovery Portal, the internal gateway to news, systems, and collaborative technologies throughout Discovery’s global offices. He also led his team through Discovery’s transition from a private to a publically-traded company.
Previously, Mr. Brown was a software product manager at the consulting firm, American Management Systems (now CGI), overseeing technology development, focused on the Federal Government sector. Earlier in his career, he was a consultant for Congressional Research Service, a branch of the Library of Congress.
Mr. Brown holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from The American University School of International Service in Washington, D.C., a Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University (OH), and studied abroad in Madrid, Spain. He is a member of American University’s Kogod School of Business’s IT Executive Council.
