Associate Director, Kogod Center for Business Communications
- Professor Sachs teaches business communications to graduate and undergraduate students. She has more than 25 years of professional communications experience in the public and private sectors. In her work for the federal government, she developed award-winning public policy campaigns, many in collaboration with Fortune 500 companies and not-for-profit organizations. She has worked for a management consulting firm, run her own small publishing business, and worked as a news producer for public television. Professor Sachs began teaching at American University in 2005 and received an award for outstanding teaching. In addition to her teaching at AU, she has taught law students at the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid, Peking University's School of Transnational Law, and Georgetown University Law Center.
