Richard Gibson

Associate Professor

• Professor Gibson has more than 30 years of teaching and industry experience with complex information systems and management science applications. Prior to joining AU, he spent several years teaching in Europe and Asia. Much of his research is based on his work with the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) and its commercial partners. Professor Gibson is trained by the SEI, a federally funded research and development center, to lead teams conducting appraisals of high maturity integrated systems, software, and service organizations. In 2010, Professor Gibson received the Kogod Graduate Business Association award for Distinguished Professor of the Year.
