Charles York

- Charles York is an Adjunct Instructor at the Kogod School of Business and teaches finance. He has twenty years of investment and private wealth management experience. As a wealth management practitioner at U.S. Trust in Washington, D.C., Mr. York works with a team of specialists to provide integrated wealth management services to high net worth families, individuals and not-for-profit institutions. Previously, Mr. York worked at Wells Fargo Private Bank and Wachovia Wealth Management. He has also served in portfolio management, investment research and team leadership roles with several buyside firms in Boston, MA. He started his career as a naval aviator with the U.S. Navy. Mr. York has been awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation by the CFA Institute, and he is a member of the CFA Institute, the Washington Association of Money Managers, and the Northern Virginia Estate Planning Council. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the USO of Metropolitan Washington.
