The Graduate Business Association will be holding elections for two First Year Directors of Programming and one MS Programs Representative during the week of September 21. Kogod is Going to Argentina!
Are you a full- or part-time graduate student interested in a short-term, immersive study abroad experience? This winter break, emerge yourself in one of Latin America's most beautiful emerging economies! Kogod’s Fall 2009 International Dimensions in Management program is a 3 credit course beginning with on-campus evening coursework on Latin American emerging economies, followed by travel to Buenos Aires, Argentina, December 14-23 (after final exams). During our time in Buenos Aires, we'll visit with senior managers from multi-national and "mini-multi-national" firms, as well as see the cultural highlights of the region.
New York City Fall Finance Trip
Are you interested in a career in finance? If so, take advantage of the finance trip to NYC, presented by the Kogod Center for Career Development and the Kogod Alumni Association, October 14 to October 16. Are you an accounting major or interested in an accounting career? Join us for our annual Accounting Day on Wednesday, September 9th, hosted by the Kogod Center for Career Development and cosponsored by Kogod’s Accounting Club.
The event will kick off with a panel of employers focusing on the topic, "Does Size Matter? What size CPA firm is right for you?" Following the panel during our Career & Networking Fair, students can meet employers from the public, private and government sectors. After the fair, we invite students, alumni and corporate partners to join us for a reception in the KCCD where you will have the opportunity to further network with accounting professionals across DC. Whether you are seeking a job or internship in accounting or hoping to strengthen your professional network, Accounting Day is an event that you should not miss!
Career Relaunch for Returning Grad Students
Jen Murphy will be coaching you throughout the year and thought we should get you up and ready to go for your job search. She will be hosting a workshop for 2nd Year students only on Wednesday, September 2nd from 2:00pm - 4:00pm in the Student Lounge (outside of the KCCD).
