Kogod's Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) degree program prepares students for successful careers in:
- Auditing
- Corporate financial reporting and controllership
- Governmental and not-for-profit acccounting
- Forensic accounting
- Consulting
Kogod's program offers an intensive and streamlined advanced study of accounting for students with an undergraduate degree or experience in accounting. The program is also flexible enough to accommodate students without accounting backgrounds.
Accounting employment is projected to experience a 22 percent increase in the next decade, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. At Kogod, students are prepared for the job market with help from talented accounting faculty, including executives-in-residence who bring extensive experience to the classroom.
The MSA program ranges from 30—37.5 credit hours, depending on prior education, and can be completed on a full- or part-time basis. Upon completion, graduates will meet the 150-hour CPA exam requirements for public accounting licensure in most states.
