The Kogod MBA degree program core curriculum is designed to build a foundation of analytical skills in economics, accounting, and quantitative methods, as well as conceptual and critical thinking abilities in strategic planning and decision making.
Kogod's broad elective portfolio provides students the opportunity to choose from a wide selection of courses at Kogod or at other AU graduate schools, focusing on a particular concentration or designing their own.
To hone professional skills, Kogod requires MBA degree program students to complete courses and engage in individual coaching for career management and professional development.
The MBA degree may be achieved in two years through the full time program and from three to four years on a part-time basis, including the evening MBA program option.
MBA Degree Program Requirements
Completion of the MBA requires 54-credit hours of coursework comprised of 36 credit hours of core curriculum and 18 credit hours of electives.
