Finance
The concentration in finance provides students an opportunity to obtain finance training that leads to careers in general management, corporate finance functions (M&A, treasury, internal controls, governance), investment finance specialties (investment banking, mutual funds, asset trading, risk management, etc.) and international finance opportunities (international arbitrage, foreign exchange markets, etc.). The concentration requires students to complete 12-credits as outlined below.

Note: Students who have successfully completed the equivalent of FIN-671, FIN-672, or FIN-673 in the prior 5 years may substitute other finance courses subject to the approval of the Department Chair and the course instructor. Successful completion is defined as a grade of B or better. With the substitution of other finance courses, students are still required to complete a minimum of 12 credits of finance to earn a concentration.
