MS Marketing Curriculum

This 30-credit hour, cohort-based program* is offered exclusively in a full-time format. With our prescribed sequence of courses, the MS in Marketing degree can be completed within one calendar year. Students are required to have completed introductory marketing coursework prior to enrolling.

Curriculum

The MS in Marketing degree requires the completion of 24 credit hours of required coursework and 6 credit hours of elective coursework. Elective courses may be used to develop complementary expertise in a related field such as sports marketing management.

Integrated classroom content directly supports and prepares students for an Applied Client Project that is completed during the program.

*American University undergraduates admitted to the combined BS/MS Marketing program may count up to 6 approved credit hours toward fulfillment of the requirements for both degrees.
