1776 Incubator Strategic Partnership
American University's Kogod School of Business, along with the School of Communication and the Social Enterprise program of the School of International Service, are very proud to be the first 1776 University partners. Kogod, SOC and SIS students have access to not only 1776 general programs, but also to special 1776 programs available to University partners. Kogod, SOC, and SIS faculty have co-working space at 1776. Entrepreneurship classes can take tours of 1776 and arrange class meetings in their conference room.
National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance
NCIIA supports technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship in universities to create hands-on learning opportunities for students and successful innovations and businesses with social benefits.NCIIA programs for students are focused on their primary goal of supporting undergraduate students by providing funding, training, coaching, and investment for projects that will have a positive impact.
Northern Virginia Technology Council
We are proud to be a member of the Northern Virginia Technology Council and to have the opportunity to participate in a number of NVTC events. NVTC events and programs provide excellent opportunities to interact with the entrepreneurial community, to keep up to date on emerging new technology ventures in the greater Washington region, and to explore opportunities for entrepreneur students. NVTC is the largest technology council in the nation serving about 1,000 companies and organizations (representing approximately 300,000 employees). The NVTC Entrepreneurship Center is a resource hub for technology-focused startups and entrepreneurs at every stage of their life cycle. Kogod has been an NVTC member for the past two years.
Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers
Kogod's Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Innovation Initiative is a member of the Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers. The Kogod School joined GCEC in 2007 and actively participates in the premier annual conference. GCEC's annual conference brings together heads of entrepreneurship centers from around the world to share ideas, learn from each other, network, and engage in exchanges to further advance entrepreneurship education and practice.

The S&R Foundation's long standing focus on social entrepreneurship is rapidly expanding with the opening of their Haleyon Incubator.
