Craig is a twelve-year veteran and the executive leader of Discovery Communication’s global software strategy and business analysis organization. He oversees all of Discovery’s business software platforms across the globe. Moreover, he was the creator and remains the leader of Discovery’s One Discovery Portal, the internal gateway to news, systems, and collaborative technologies throughout Discovery’s global offices. Craig has led the effort to strategically leverage their ERP platform, effectively leverage technology to allow distribute and manage video content in a distributed environment, and optimize operational sales systems throughout the business.
Prior to Discovery, Mr. Brown was a software baseline product manager at American Management Systems (now CGI), overseeing technology development of software servicing the Federal Civilian marketplace. He also provided consulting services for Congressional Research Service, a branch of the Library of Congress.
Craig has been a guest lecturer at the Kogod School of Business at The American University, focusing on the topic of "Software in the Enterprise." Craig presented in Sydney, Australia, "Lessons Learned from Discovery’s HR ERP Deployment."
