After 25 years in an IT career in the financial services industry, Jill brought her experience into a university environment, where she shares her perspective with students interested in this dynamic field. Jill helped establish many of the strategic outsourcing standards that have been adopted in groundbreaking transactions during the past decade.
Jill is an Executive in Residence at the Kogod School of Business at American University where she teaches graduate and undergraduate students in the area of applied information systems. Jill co-chairs the Kogod Information Technology Executive Council (The ITEC) and serves as the Program Director for the Masters of Science in Information Technology Management (MSITM). Jill represents Kogod in a variety of professional associations including: the Data Interchange Standards Association (DISA), Society for Information Management (SIM) and Women in Technology (WIT). In 2007, Kogod became the first University Strategic Alliance Partner with WIT, which is expected to enhance professional networking opportunities for students and faculty in the local marketplace.
