Leif is currently the President of the Federal Consulting Practice at CSC. His experience includes strategic planning consulting to senior executives in government and the private sector; enterprise-wide information technology selection, configuration, development and implementation; management of large-scale DOD reengineering and transformation programs; and, launch and general management of new business profit centers. Leif is a graduate of MIT and HBS' The General Manager Program (TGMP). He also serves on MIT's Engineering Systems Division Alumni Advisory Council, American University's Kogod Business School Information Technology Executive Committee, and previously served on the board of directors of the Capital Area Food Bank.
Leif co-chairs the Kogod Information Technology Executive Council (ITEC). Leif began his professional career developing computer models and simulations. He has led the development of artificial intelligence software and graphical user interfaces. He has also led applied research of artificial neural networks. He has overseen the development of custom systems development and the configuration of ERP packages to support business process reengineering (BPR) programs that he has led.
