Most Memorable Experiences at AU
I've had some memorable experience studying abroad in Turkey. And now I can't wait to get back to AU and see all my friends. All my best AU memories seem to come from the spur of the moment ideas we get. I'll never forget the day my roommate and I randomly decided to bike to Mount Vernon one morning. It was over 40 miles, but we had a great time enjoying the all of the scenery. And the best part was we still made it back for chapter that afternoon!
My Advice to a New Student
As a freshman it’s important to get involved on campus. It's the best way to meet the real friends you'll have throughout college. So think about joining a club or two, or consider joining a fraternity or sorority your second semester. Also make sure to ask your peer mentors and other upperclassmen who their best professors and classes have been, so you can choose your classes for next semester accordingly.
