Registration and Cost


Student will stay on campus in a residence hall:

  • Program Fee: $2,350

Full program payment must be paid by check, money order, or credit card by July 11, 2016.



At this time we do not offer scholarships for the Kogod Summer Institute. We encourage you to contact your local clubs and organizations (Rotary, Lions Club, etc.) about potential scholarship opportunities with them. If additional information is needed to present this opportunity, contact Abby Moreau at for more information.

Kogod Summer Institute courses are professional, hands-on summer workshops for high school students. Participants will receive a copy of the work they produce, a certificate, and an evaluation that can be integrated into their college applications.

The Kogod Summer Institute values professionalism among its faculty, student workers, and students. Professionalism includes demonstrating excellence, integrity, respect, compassion, accountability, and a commitment to the program in all our interactions and responsibilities. It is the policy and expectation of The Kogod Summer Institute faculty, student workers, and students to conduct themselves in a professional manner in all of their interactions with site visits, members of the public and the University community. The purposes of this policy are to promote excellence, integrity and sophistication in all of our activities; to assure that all persons are treated with respect, dignity and courtesy; and to promote constructive communication and collaborative teamwork.

Students are expected to act professionally in the classroom & at site visits. Being disrespectful or distracting will not be tolerated. Additionally, students are responsible for their actions and anyone violating the KSI values, will be sent home.



To receive a refund of the program fee, you must send notice of cancellation to by June 1, 2016. The $300 deposit is non-refundable. After June 1, 2016, there will be no refunds.
