Elective credits allow students the opportunity to choose from a wide selection of other courses at Kogod or at other AU graduate schools, such as the School of International Service or School of Public Affairs.
Kogod students often seek elective courses to emphasize:
- Industry segment, such as consulting or entrepreneurship
- Business function, such as finance or information technology
- Cross-disciplinary focus, by expanding knowledge of international development, sustainability management, or another field.
To hone students' professional skills, the school also requires full-time MBA students to complete courses and individual coaching in career management.
