Welcome to the Kogod School of Business! I hope you'll consider studying abroad during your time here. Kogod seeks to raise the global awareness of students while providing practical opportunities to develop business skills and competencies to compete in the global environment.

Program Overviews

International Dimensions in Management (IBUS-744)

  • 3-credit class combining on-campus coursework with 10-14 day travel to an emerging economy 2-credit section also offered
  • Offered in the Fall and Spring semesters, with visits to multinational and domestic firms
  • Previous locations include China, Korea, India, Brazil, Argentina, and Russia

Global Innovation without Frontiers (IBUS-685)

  • 3-credit Spring class focused on European innovation and technology transfer (not offered Spring 2013) 2-credit section also offered
  • Travel to Europe over spring break and visit multinational and domestic firms
  • Previous locations include Paris and Prague

Summer Management Programs in Europe

  • Study in Europe during the summer with one of Kogod's partner institutions, earning up to 9 credits — i.e. WHU in Vallendar or ESCP Europe in Paris
  • Coursework includes a variety of electives, from marketing and operations to international strategy and doing business in Europe

Kogod Global Management Institute (KGMI)

  • Intense 1-week, 3-credit summer program focused on all aspects of doing business in emerging markets
  • Includes presentations by industry experts and site visits to key organizations such as the World Bank, IMF, and Inter-American Development Bank (IDB)
