Kogod Joins International Business Association
Last month, the Kogod School of Business became the eleventh school to join the Consortium of Undergraduate International Business Education (CUIBE).
Established in 2004, CUIBE promotes collaboration and innovation among faculty and students, through research, publications, and seminars.
“Kogod’s accession to full CUIBE membership is confirmation not only of the quality of our international business programs and curriculum but also the faculty who are committed to understanding the dynamic of the global marketplace,” said Frank DuBois, chair of Kogod’s international business department.
“Kogod is unique because faculty members in all departments have international business expertise, [which] allows us to provide an exceptional learning experience,” he continued.
In order to became a member of CUIBE, a school must:
* be accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB)
* have an international business degree program, concentration, or major
* have an international business club
* offer study abroad programs
AU joins such CUIBE members as George Washington University, Temple University, and Washington State University.
