The Kogod Global Management Institute is intended for professionals or graduate students with a strong interest in global strategy. KGMI participants may choose to enroll on a for-credit or non-credit basis. There are no specific coursework prerequisites; however, applicants must have completed a bachelor’s degree at an accredited institution.

How to Register
Current American University Graduate Students
All actively enrolled AU graduate students interested in enrolling in the KGMI should first complete this online AU Student Registration Form. Students should work with their Academic Advisor to verify how the credits may be applied toward their degree program requirements.
All participants not currently enrolled in a degree program at American University should complete the Registration Form and submit it to:

You will receive an email confirmation when your Registration Form is received. Please note that non-AU participants wishing to earn credit for the KGMI are responsible for securing any required approvals for credit transfer from their home institution.
The cost for the 2011 Kogod Global Management Institute is as follows:
3-Credit Option: $3,750
Non-Credit Option: $2,500
The cost includes tuition (for the 3-credit option), course materials, site visits, and networking reception per the program schedule. All participants will be billed separately by American University for the cost of the KGMI as outlined above.
