The Management specialization provides professional skills for individuals to succeed as managers and leaders. Students will find these skills make them more successful in their careers, allowing them to take on increasing responsibilities, facilitating promotions, and achieving career enhancing transfers. Specifically, students will be able to take active and productive roles in leading and working in teams, understanding their organization's performance drivers, and managing human capital. In addition, emphasis on practical skills such as negotiation, consulting/project management, and managing change/innovation or entrepreneurship helps students in careers in large, small, and changing businesses. Students are encouraged to combine the management area of specialization with another KSB area of specialization.
