All academic advising appointments should be made using the online scheduling system. The online appointment system will indicate available half-hour appointments with your advisor between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Advisors are available to meet with students in-person or by phone. If you choose to schedule a phone appointment during the day, please indicate the number where you can be reached in the "Descriptions/Purpose" field.
Part-time students who would like an appointment after 5:00 p.m. should call their advisor to schedule a time.
Instructions for logging into the scheduling system:

Click on the “Schedule an Appointment” icon below.

Use your my.american.edu user name and password to log in.

Click the name of your academic advisor to view his/her availability.

Appointments can be scheduled online until 8:00 a.m. on the day of the appointment. After 8:00 a.m., availability for subsequent days will be shown only.

If you need to cancel your appointment or experience technical difficulties, please call your academic advisor.
