The Kogod School of Business offers non-business majors the option to enhance their undergraduate course of study with a minor in a business discipline.

Students selecting a Kogod minor must complete a minimum of 18-22 credit hours, depending on the discipline.

Kogod's business minors offer students an excellent opportunity not only to enhance their knowledge and professional capabilities but also to expand their career possibilities after graduation.

The Kogod School of Business offers the following undergraduate minors:

• Accounting

• Information Systems and Technology

To declare a business minor, you must first declare your major by contacting your major advisor. After declaring your major, you may then email ksbadvising@american.edu with the following information:

• Full name
  
• AU ID
• The minor you would like to declare
