Dr. Seuss Day Event (Updated 3/18)

This year we will collaborate with three District elementary schools to promote literacy. Volunteers will read to children between grades pre-kindergarten and second at either Brightwood Elementary, Powell Elementary or the Latin American Montessori Bilingual.

To honor the 50th anniversary of both, the Civil Rights Act and the Wilderness Act. Volunteers will reads from one of two Dr. Seuss books - The Lorax and The Sneetches.

Coffee and transportation will be provided for volunteers.
