This class will help you learn to access and use subject-specific databases that index the scholarly literature necessary for completing a literature review assignment. In addition, the basic aspects of what a literature review looks like will be covered. Bring your research topics and literature review questions with you so that the class can be as useful as possible.
Writing Center Consultants are joined by the College Writing Program's International Student Coordinator to answer questions about English such as "Why can I say 'a research study' but not 'a research'?" and "Why are English articles - a, an, the - so difficult?" Participants in this workshop will learn about plurals and articles and practice using them in academic writing.
